There are a wide variety of resources available to help you improve your health as well as the programmes offered by Healthy Peterborough.

Why not use our brief self-assessment forms to get general over view of your overall health. A good way to identify what you would like to improve about your health and will help you to decide which course of action to take.

My Health App

The app to help Cambridgeshire and Peterborough residents find local NHS services available to them was launched in 2018. The ‘MyHealth Cambridgeshire & Peterborough’ app is quick and easy to use and  will direct you to your nearest appropriate NHS service. This includes local GPs, pharmacies, minor injury units, and dentists, based on your location or postcode.

Free to download and available in five other languages, including Polish, Latvian, and Lithuanian, MyHealth provides up to date information on current services including directions, opening hours, and contact details.

The app is available to download for iOS via Apple Store and Android via Google Play by searching for ‘MyHealth C&P CCG’.


One You Apps

Apps are a great way to monitor your health improvement journey progress and to keep yourself motivated.

There are may different types of apps available through phone operating systems (IOS or Android)  but we would recommend using the NHS and Public Health England ‘One You’ apps to ensure that you are receiving the latest and most accurate health information.

There are a variety of ‘One You’ apps available, so whether you want to give up smoking or complete a 5K there is support for you because there is only one you.

Grab your trainers and sweatband, the couch to 5K app will get you up and off your couch and ready to run upto 5k within  9 weeks

If you want to feel healthier lose weight and save money the drinks tracker app helps you understand how much alcohol you drink and to identify the best days to go alcohol free. The app provides ongoing daily practical support to help you stick to your plan and achieve your alcohol free goal.

The Easy Meals app is full of healthy and nutritious meals to help you maintain a healthy diet.

Why not use the app to create a weekly meal plan full of delicious meals that fit around your lifestyle. It can even help you write your shopping list for the week, saving you time to get on with something more fun.

The Active 10 app is designed to easily help you use walking to benefit your health. The app will tell you when to increase your pace to improve the health benefits and will keep track of your progress and reward you for achieving your targets.
